Kevin Stevens

Kevin Stevens is a New Zealand based producer who started in the industry working with special makeup effects and visual effects.  He is the producer of two feature length films, ‘The Dead Room’ and the award winning feature film comedy 'Edwin’. Kevin is also the producer of the international award winning series of shorts  'Careful with that...' - in fact it’s his son Cameron who plays the lead in these films.  Kevin’s background in running a successful multi-million dollar sales and distribution company, along with a love of cinema, is what has led him naturally towards producing. Kevin is hugely experienced at managing large budgets from his work in the building industry and has set up and managed complicated payroll systems. Kevin’s experience working with crews as a visual effects artist have served him well as a producer. He successfully sold ‘Edwin’ to Comedy Central and facilitated all the contracting of this ambitious project.

Jason Stutter

Jason Stutter started in the film industry as an editor before switching gears to become a director. He has directed five feature length films: most recently he directed the scary thriller ‘The Dead Room’, starring Jed Brophy, which is selling internationally including the US with IFC Films. ‘The Dead Room’ premiered in official selection at the Sitges film festival – the largest genre festival in the world. Previously he has directed gothic comedy ‘Predicament’, and cult comedies ‘Tongan Ninja’, ‘Diagnosis: Death’ and ‘Edwin’ which won best actor at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival. Jason is also the creator of the award winning trilogy of short films ‘Careful with that...’ Jason’s films have screened in over one hundred international film festivals. As well as his film work, Jason has directed commercials for New Zealand’s top advertising creatives. Jason runs the successful Wellington production company Spooky Pictures who have produced and directed productions throughout New Zealand and internationally.
